The purpose of the Home & School Association (H.S.A.) is to support and enrich our children’s Catholic education and spiritual growth in the Holy Trinity Community.  We will attain this by uniting parents, students and staff through ongoing communication, effective fundraising, community events and the promotion of academic enrichment programs.  All parents of students enrolled at HTCS are members of the H.S.A. and are encouraged to become involved.

Our fundraising programs are intended to cover the costs of the community building events and academic enrichment programs throughout the year.  Sources of fundraising include Book Fair, Dress Down Days, Crusader Closet used uniform sales, Rewards Programs, Spirit items and Spirit Nights.  Through generous family support of these programs, we are able to sponsor many fun activities throughout the year.  In addition to community activities, funds are used to sponsor teacher and staff events such as Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week and other staff luncheons.

H.S.A. Committees

The Scholastic Book Fair is held twice a school year. Volunteers are needed with set-up, tear-down, stocking books and working the cash register.

Volunteers are needed to promote participation, sort and report Box Tops and Labels for Education. This is a great opportunity for those that work and/or have young children at home.

Throughout the school year, various activities are scheduled that may require extra volunteers to coordinate such as: Back to School Party, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Talent Show, Fall & Spring Family Events, Halls Pumpkin  Patch, Science Week and  the End of Year  Party.

A used uniform sale will be held regularly and also by appointment. Volunteers are needed for set-up, tear-down and sales support.

This is a great way to help new HTCS families feel welcome and become familiar with our school.  Current families are matched with a new family that may be in their same parish and/or have children in the same grade. Volunteer families are needed to assist new families throughout their first school year.

Designated school days when students may wear non-uniform attire by participating in this school fundraiser.  Volunteers are needed to promote participation, count and report funds generated.

Helping Hand is-a great way to serve HTCS families in the event of a surgery, prolonged  illness, the birth of a child, hospitalization of a parent or student or death of someone in the family. Volunteers provide a homemade or pre-made meal, or purchase restaurant gift cards. This is a great opportunity for those that work and/or have young children at home.

This committee provides baked goods, meals or other items needed for school sponsored events such as staff luncheons and principal coffees. Volunteers are also needed for set-up and clean-up. This is a great opportunity for those that work and/or have young children at home.

Room Parents meet to plan and coordinate the three class parties: Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day, and are also responsible for general duties and communications needed by the teacher. In addition, the 7th grade parents plan the 8th grade Graduation reception, and the 1st grade parents plan the 2nd grade First Communion reception. Lastly, it is our hope that room parents coordinate- class gatherings throughout the year such as lunch or breakfast outings, and after school play dates.

Volunteers are needed to help sort and distribute Spirit Wear items ordered by school families.

Local restaurants give a percentage of total HTCS sales back to our school. Volunteers are needed to plan, promote participation and report these monthly family events.

The annual HTCS talent show showcases the talents of our children in a fun environment. Volunteers are needed for auditions, program production, set-up and tear down.

Volunteers are needed both before and during this special week to plan and implement a successful springtime celebration.
